McCain internal polls say the race is tighening
November 1st, 2008 . by MartyI spoke with Charlie Black and the good news is that the campaign internals are showing the race is tightening. The pendulum is swinging back toward John McCain’s way. In the meantime, I still felt it was essential that I rebut the latest installments of that dubious BBC documentary series “The Last Republican.” I’ve already spoken with legal counsel about my options for redress. I’ve been taken out of context, and it’s clear now that the so-called documentarian, Samantha Hensington, had a personal vendetta against me. Danny videotaped my latest response:

The BBC may have made you look “bad, silly and foolish”.
Has it ever occurred to you that that you are making yourself look bad in these self-produced videos, that you make yourself look foolish and silly.
Any government official or campaign would be wise to avoid associating with you, someone who appears on the edge, lacking the competence and discretion required of such associations.
Take this as advice - tone down and earn the trust, or others will be toning your out soon enough. Sad, but likely to be true.
